The explosion at Shahid Rajaee Port is unrelated to the Persian Gulf Star Oil Refinery’s storage tanks or infrastructure, and the refinery’s operations continue without disruption.

In a statement, the National Iranian Oil Refining and Distribution Company (NIORDC) said: “The explosion is not linked to refineries, fuel storage tanks, distribution networks, or pipelines operated by the NIORDC in the region. Operations at facilities in Bandar Abbas are proceeding uninterrupted. Additionally, emergency response and firefighting teams from all oil companies in the area are on standby and providing assistance under the direction of the Ports and Maritime Organization to help manage the incident.”
