'Beta' financing package in Iran’s oil industry unveiled

SHANA (Tehran) – The "Beta" financing package ("Be Tavan-e Iran" or "With Iran's Power") was unveiled Tuesday, April 22, at an event focused on investment and development in Iran's upstream oil and gas sector. The ceremony was attended by First Vice President Mohammadreza Aref and Oil Minister Mohsen Paknejad.

The package aims to mobilize public investment for productive and developmental projects in the oil industry, with a focus on supporting small and medium-sized enterprises. It seeks to facilitate financing for high-value projects by leveraging public funds.

Developed by the Oil Industry Research and Technology Fund, "Beta" introduces innovative financing methods to direct liquidity toward high-value-added industries, aligning with the government's economic democratization policies.

At the event, the National Iranian Oil Company presented over 200 investment opportunities to large, medium, and small investors under various contractual frameworks.
