Saman Qodousi spoke Sunday at a briefing session for the exhibition, attended by ambassadors, representatives, and economic attachés.
He described the event as one of the largest specialized oil industry exhibitions in Asia and the world, held annually in Tehran with significant domestic and international participation.

Emphasizing the exhibition’s importance, he said the National Iranian Oil Company, as the organizer, works with subsidiaries of the Ministry of Oil and its public relations department to host numerous industry stakeholders each year.
The 29th edition of the exhibition will run from May 8 to 11, with over 2,000 Iranian and international companies already registered.
Qodousi urged ambassadors and economic representatives in Tehran to facilitate greater participation, expressing hope that the event would create new opportunities for economic cooperation in the oil industry amid growing optimism for international agreements.
He called on foreign ambassadors to invite businesses and industrial delegations to attend, aiming for maximum participation and expanded collaboration.
