Iran's daily gasoline consumption stands at 144m liters

SHANA (Tehran) – Iran's gasoline consumption reached 144 million liters on Saturday, marking a 15% increase compared to the same day last year (March 29, 2024).

Data from the National Iranian Oil Products Distribution Company (NIOPDC) showed that 144 million liters of gasoline were distributed nationwide on Saturday (March 29). This figure is up by 18.7 million liters, or 15%, from the 125.3 million liters recorded on the same day last year (March 29, 2024). 

The average daily gasoline consumption between March 21 and March 29 this year was 128.3 million liters. Additionally, gasoline consumption on March 27 and March 28, was reported at 139.3 million liters and 125.7 million liters, respectively.
