Gasoline consumption nears 140m liters

SHANA (Tehran) - Iran’s gasoline consumption reached 139.3 million liters on the seventh day of Farvardin, marking a 10% increase compared to the same period last year.

According to data released by the National Iranian Oil Products Distribution Company, 139.3 million liters of gasoline were distributed across the country on Thursday (Farvardin 7). This figure reflects a rise of 12.4 million liters, or about 10%, compared to the 126.9 million liters recorded on the same date last year (Farvardin 7, 1403).  

The average daily gasoline consumption between Farvardin 1 and 7 this year was 126.4 million liters. Additionally, consumption on Farvardin 5 and 6, 1404, stood at 130 million liters and 134.8 million liters, respectively.
