Gasoline consumption on sixth day of spring hits 134m liters

SHANA (Tehran) - Iran's gasoline consumption on Wednesday, the sixth day of the Iranian calendar year 1404 (March 26, 2025), reached approximately 135 million liters, marking a 17% increase compared to the same day last year.  

According to data released by the National Iranian Oil Products Distribution Company, a total of 134.8 million liters of gasoline were distributed across the country on Wednesday. This figure reflects a 19.6 million-liter increase (17%) from the 115.2 million liters recorded on the same day in the previous year (March 26, 2024).  

The average daily gasoline consumption between the first and sixth days of the Iranian new year (March 21–26, 2025) was 124.2 million liters. Additionally, consumption on the fourth and fifth days of the year (March 24–25, 2025) stood at 122 million liters and 130 million liters, respectively.
