Gasoline consumption exceeds 122m liters

SHANA (Tehran) - Iran's gasoline consumption on Sunday, the third day of the Iranian calendar year 1404 (March 23, 2025), surpassed 122 million liters, marking a 5.5% increase compared to the same day last year.  

According to statistics released by the National Iranian Oil Products Distribution Company, a total of 122.2 million liters of gasoline were distributed across the country on Sunday. This figure reflects a rise of 6.3 million liters, or 5.5%, compared to the 115.9 million liters recorded on the same day last year (March 20, 2024).  

The average daily gasoline consumption from the first to the third day of the Iranian New Year this year was 119.5 million liters. Additionally, daily consumption on the first and second days of the year (March 21–22, 2025) was 114.8 million liters and 121.5 million liters, respectively.
