NIOC CEO extends Nowruz greetings

SHANA (Tehran) – The CEO of the National Iranian Oil Company (NIOC) extended congratulations to all employees and their families on the occasion of Nowruz, the Iranian New Year.

In his message, Hamid Bovard stated:

"In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful,

Dear colleagues, the arrival of spring and the beginning of the new year, coinciding with the anniversary of the nationalization of the oil industry, presents a valuable opportunity to reflect on the proud history of Iran’s oil industry and its bright future. March 20th [29th of Esfand] marks the determination and resolve of the great Iranian nation in achieving independence and self-reliance—a day when the oil industry was nationalized by the capable hands of this land’s children, laying the foundation for the country’s progress and sustainable development.

This year, these two significant occasions coincide with the nights of Qadr and the martyrdom anniversary of the Commander of the Faithful, Imam Ali (AS), days that invite us to reflect on the values of justice, sacrifice, and sincere service to the people.

Just as Imam Ali (AS) made justice and the protection of people’s rights the cornerstone of his governance, we in the oil industry, inspired by these teachings, are committed to preserving this national asset and ensuring its sustainable development for future generations. At the dawn of the year 1404 [2024-2025], with hope in divine blessings and the unwavering efforts of the hardworking oil industry employees, we will take firmer steps toward the growth and prosperity of our nation.

I extend my congratulations for the new year and honor the anniversary of the nationalization of the oil industry. I also express my gratitude to all dear colleagues who, across the country—from plains and mountains to the depths of the seas—strive tirelessly for the advancement of this vital industry.

Wishing you and your respected families a year filled with health, success, and pride."
