Over 136m liters of gasoline distributed across Iran on March 18

SHANA (Tehran) – The daily gasoline consumption in Iran reached over 136 million liters on Tuesday, March 18, 2025, as the country saw an increase in travel at the start of the Nowruz holiday season.

According to statistics released by the National Iranian Oil Products Distribution Company (NIOPDC), a total of 136.7 million liters of gasoline were distributed across the country on Tuesday, March 18. This figure represents a decrease of approximately 4 million liters, or 2.5%, compared to the same day last year (March 18, 2024), when 140.3 million liters were distributed.

The report also noted that gasoline consumption on Monday, March 17, 2025, was 144.2 million liters, while the average daily consumption since the start of the Iranian calendar year (March 20, 2024) has been 124 million liters.
