Mohammad-Sadeq Azimifar, during a fuel supply coordination meeting, praised the efforts of management and staff across 37 regions for achieving historic milestones in fuel delivery to power plants. He emphasized that the dedication of NIORDC employees, alongside comprehensive cooperation with other companies, has led to this historic achievement in petroleum product distribution.
Azimifar noted that this accomplishment comes despite challenges, with liquid fuel deliveries to power plants during the same period last year (from the start of Farvardin to the end of Bahman) amounting to approximately 13.5 billion liters, marking a 40% increase this year.
He also highlighted efforts in distributing gasoline to meet public demand, stating that alongside the delivery of 19.5 billion liters of diesel and fuel oil to power plants (excluding March figures), gasoline distribution is proceeding smoothly and without issue.
Record delivery of over 54m liters of diesel to power plants
Keramat Veys-Karami, CEO of the National Iranian Oil Products Distribution Company (NIOPDC), provided a detailed report on the company’s efforts in supplying and distributing petroleum products.
He acknowledged the relentless efforts of various sectors within NIORDC, including Mohammad-Ali Dadvar, Deputy CEO of NIORDC, and Ali Ahmadipour, CEO of the Iranian Oil Pipelines and Telecommunications Company, who have worked tirelessly in the production and transportation of petroleum products through pipelines. He also credited the hard work of regional and operational managers and staff for ensuring stable fuel supply conditions.
Veys-Karami emphasized the significance of the historic record of distributing approximately 54.5 million liters of diesel in Bahman this year, noting that the daily increase of 12 million liters in diesel production, given existing infrastructure, reflects substantial efforts deserving of recognition.
He also pointed to achievements in product transportation, stating that continued service to the public has been made possible through notable actions across all sectors.
Veys-Karami assured that NIOPDC is fully prepared to meet power plant fuel demands in the coming days, despite forecasted cold weather, and pledged to exert all efforts to ensure stable fuel supply and proper service to the public.
He further outlined the company’s plans for Nowruz fuel supply, emphasizing that all available resources and facilities will be utilized to provide fuel and services to citizens during the holiday.
