Strategic oil projects set to launch in the near future: NIOC

SHANA (Tehran) – The National Iranian Oil Company (NIOC) is implementing significant plans for the development of oil and gas fields, prioritizing these projects as key components of its developmental strategy.

Among the strategic initiatives underway are the construction of platforms A20 and A21 at the Abuzar oil field, aimed at achieving a production capacity of 9,600 barrels of oil per day. Additionally, the NGL-3100 plant project, designed to collect associated and flare gases from the North Dezful fields, is set to process 240 million cubic feet per day with an investment of $1.4 billion.

The company has also taken steps to collect associated gases from other oil fields, including the collection of reservoir gases and excess gases from the second phase of the Gachsaran 1 and 2 production units, with a daily capacity of 15 million cubic feet. These projects are expected to be operational soon.

Further developmental efforts include the project to collect associated gases from Rag Sefid 1 (Phase 1) and a portion of flare gases from its production unit, with a daily capacity of 80 million cubic feet. This project is also nearing the operational phase.

Additionally, the launch of the Siraf Pars service port construction project and the early extraction plan for the Khesht oil field are being vigorously pursued by NIOC. These projects are expected to reach full operational capacity in the near future.
