Hassan Mousavi stated that the total natural gas consumption on Tuesday, amounted to 859 mcm, of this, 610 mcm—71% of the total—was used by households, commercial establishments, and small industries.

He noted that gas consumption in these sectors has increased by 18% compared to the same day last year, highlighting the need for better energy management and optimization during the upcoming cold days.

Following the drop in temperatures and forecasts of further declines, President Masoud Pezeshkian, Oil Minister Mohsen Paknejad, and other officials called on citizens to participate in the "2 Degrees Less" campaign through video and written messages, encouraging energy conservation to ensure sufficient fuel supply for winter.
