According to Shana, during a visit to phase one of the flare gas collection project at the Rag-sefid operational unit, Seyed Mohsen Dehbanpour further said that it is hoped the project deliver 80 million cubic feet of gas per day to the Persian Gulf Holding facilities within the next two months, following the completion of the initial phases of the Rag-Sefid gas dehumidification project.
He continued that, considering the priorities of the National Iranian South Oil Company for maximum production, collecting gas flares, and supplying part of winter fuel needs, it is possible to deliver 80 million cubic feet of gas per day in the coming months.
The CEO of the Aghajari Oil and Gas Production Company emphasized that the policy to prevent gas flaring and environmental pollution, as well as to avoid burning a significant amount of national and natural resources, contributes to solving the gas imbalance problem, creating considerable added value.
The Rag-Sefid operational unit has six wellhead clusters with a daily capacity of 80 million cubic feet.
