South Pars Gas Complex Reduces Gas Emissions

SHANA (Tehran) - South Pars Gas Processing Complex managed to capture more volumes of gases burnt by gas stacks during the last Iranian calendar year, which ended on 20 March 2024.

Head of Health, Safety, Environment And Civil Defence Department of the complex, Mohammad Masoudnia, made the above remarks adding South Pars Gas Processing Complex has been able to cut sulfur dioxide release by 411,26 million tons or 14 percent last year when compared with a year earlier.

“This year, we have taken great steps to achieve more successes by relying on knowledge and capabilities of our employees and benefiting from 100 percent of domestically manufactured goods.", he said.
