A Member of Parliament, Mostafa Nakhei, made the remarks, admiring the Petroleum Ministry for the efforts it has made to raise oil production and exports under sanctions.
Speaking with Shana, he said during the past 3 years, the 13th administration managed to boost foreign exchange revenues from oil, gas and condensate exports, expressing hope the earnings would rise further next year.
Elsewhere in his remarks, he said: Generally, many measures were taken to activate energy diplomacy and it could be said that energy diplomacy approach of the 13th administration under the leadership of Ibrahim Raisi deserves to get a good score.
The representative of Nehbandan and Sarbisheh region further said that the 13th administration could successfully solve the issue of gas swap with the neighboring country Turkmenistan by relying on a powerful energy diplomacy approach, a problematic issue that had remained unsolved for several years.
With regard to attracting foreign investment in the oil sector, the Petroleum Ministry performance is satisfactory including developing cooperation with Russia in the energy sector.
