The active energy diplomacy adopted by Iran’s petroleum ministry under incumbent government as well as the development of its international cooperation have surpassed crude oil sales, said the head of the Ministry of Petroleum’s Europe, Americas and CIS Affairs Division, Mehdi Seyedi, at the exhibition, known as Iran Oil Show 2024.
“It includes technical and engineering services exports, technical know-how exports, and scientific and research cooperation of the science and technology centers in Iran’s oil industry with their international counterparts,” he stated.
Holding specialized panels with the presence of Iranian and international managers, professors and experts; pursuing maximum participation of the technical and specialized delegations and international oil and gas companies from Germany, China, Russia, Japan, France, Belarus, Turkey, Canada, India, Austria, Turkmenistan and Uzbekistan; inviting ambassadors and foreign economic officials to attend the opening ceremony and visit the exhibition; supporting knowledge-based and innovative companies to take part in Iran oil show to present their capacity to international markets with the cooperation of the Oil Ministry’s PetroPark; meeting with Iranian companies active in international markets and foreign companies active in Iran’s oil and gas industry, as well as reviewing the implementation process of the projects and dealing with obstacles and challenges are among the measures taken by the Department of International Affairs and Trading of the Ministry of Petroleum during the 28th Iran International Oil, Gas, Refining and Petrochemical Exhibition.
Iran Oil Show 2024, Iran’s main and most important oil event, opened on Wednesday, May 8, 2024 at Tehran International Permanent Fairground with the motto of “Petroleum industry, production leap and technological optimization”. The National Iranian Oil Company (NIOC), with the Petroleum Ministry’s support, is in charge of holding the event which normally takes place every year in May.
The exhibition hosts 1750 oil industry related companies, including 250 foreign companies from 12 countries.
