Minister launches Bassirabad gas pressure reduction station in NE Iran

SHANA (Gorgan) – Bassirabad gas pressure reduction station in Iran’s northeastern province of Golestan was officially launched in the presence of Oil Minister Javad Owji on Thursday.

Accompanying President Seyyed Ebrahim Raeisi during his day-long visit to the province, the minister inaugurated the station with a daily capacity of 2.5 million cubic meters.

All pieces of equipment used at the station have been supplied by Iranian manufacturers and knowledge-based companies.

The station will guarantees sustainable gas supply to 150 villages and five towns of the province and help the provincial gas company redress imbalance in winter.
