According to IRNA, Javad Owji announced today (Wednesday, December 14) to reporters on the sidelines of the government cabinet meeting: "We agree with China strategically."

He stated that the petroleum ministry would not cut off the fuel for any industrial unit in the winter season, and said: "Considering the cold and frosty season in most provinces, the government's effort is to get through the winter without challenges, and therefore we request everyone to follow the consumption pattern."

Recalling that the tariff of customers who consume a lot of gas has been increased since December 7, the minister of petroleum emphasized that the tariff of the first to third steps of the customers who followed the consumption pattern will not be increased.

Owji announced the connection of South Khorasan province, including villages and industrial towns, to the gas supply network, and said: "In South Khorasan, this province was connected to the gas supply network with the Jihadi work of this province, which will have an impact on its progress."
