IOOC Signs 7 MoUs, Agreements

TEHRAN (Shana) -- The Iranian Offshore Oil Company (IOOC) on Sunday signed seven research agreements and Memoranda of Understanding (MoUs) with Research Institute of Petroleum Industry (RIPI) and Petroleum University of Technology as well as universities and knowledge-based companies.

The MoU signed between the Iranian Offshore Oil Company and the North Drilling Company was in line with development of technical, operational, executive and economic cooperation in a bid to utilize existing facilities, capabilities and capacities, and rise quantity and quality in these areas.

Moreover, the MoU signed between the IOOC and the knowledge-based Paya Hydraulic Jam Company is in conjunction with the Supreme Leader’s instructions in the year of knowledge-based and job-creating production and the policies focusing on the flourishing of the knowledge-based economy, countering sanctions and increasing experts’ employment for organized and systematic communication in providing indigenous knowledge-based products.

The company also signed a parametric modeling contract with the RIPI on limited implementation of pipelines and pressure vessels to analyze structural integrity and assess third level of serviceability.

Furthermore, the IOOC and the knowledge-based Paya Petro-technology company signed an MoU.

A memorandum of understanding was also signed among the IOOC, the RIPI and Kimianovin Company on providing analyses required for oil reservoirs such as stable isotope ratio analysis.

There was also a bilateral MoU signed between the IOOC and the RIPI to promote technology and technical know-how, optimize production, reduce costs and operational investment risks and increase the added value through innovation.
