Output of Aghajari Units up 20,000 b/d

TEHRAN (Shana) – There is an uptick of 20,000 barrels per day of crude oil from Aghajari production facilities with the repair of the salt oil pipeline of Aghajari units to Paznan.

According to Aghajari Oil and Gas Production Company, Manouchehr Qanavati, Head of Operations, said: "By repairing critical points and securing the 10-inch salt oil pipeline of Aghajari units to desalination units of Paznan 1, it is possible to produce more than 20,000 per day from Aghajari and Pazannan oil fields.”

He added: "The 28-kilometer pipeline will be used to transfer part of the oil from Aghajari Oil Field through production units No. 1 and 2 of Aghajari and part of the wells of Paznan Oil Field to Pazanan 1 Desalination Unit for salt oil processing in accordance with the standards accepted by the National Iranian Oil Company."
