In an interview with Shana, Mustafa Nakhaei said that the sale of oil and petroleum products is one of the most important ways to provide hard currency resources for the country.
He praised the Iranian Ministry of Petroleum for its efforts to boost oil sales and exports under sanctions, adding hard currency generation from oil, gas and gas condensate sales have grown and will continue to do so in the remaining months of the year.
A spokesman for the parliament's energy committee stated: "The increase in oil exports is the result of the efforts of oil industry employees. These employees and workers are working hard to develop the industry, and their needs and problems must be addressed.”
Nakhaei said: "Oil industry workers face many difficulties, because they have to work around the clock on gas and oil rigs away from their families in the middle of the sea, and following this round-the-clock effort, “we do not have even one hour of pressure drop from gas rigs. Therefore, special attention should be paid to their rights, benefits and welfare.”
