Completion of 1st Sweetening Train of Phase 14, NIOC Priority

TEHRAN (Shana) -- The Deputy of Production at the National Iranian Oil Company (NIOC) said: "Operation of the first gas sweetening train of phase 14 refinery by early December is an important priority for the Company.

According to Pars Oil and Gas Company, Farrokh Alikhani said on Tuesday: “With the shortage of gas in winter, the realization of production from the South Pars Phase 14 refinery is very important.”

He said that everyone should make efforts to realize the production of this project in due time in the form of oil industry complex, adding: “The National Iranian Oil Company is doing its best to help solve the existing problems of the project and achieve the desired result.”

Alikhani also visited storage facilities and gas condensate measuring stations in South Pars and announced efforts to increase the transfer capacity of the item to Persian Gulf Star Refinery to 450,000 barrels per day.

He said: "Currently, about 400,000 barrels of gas condensate are transported to the Persian Gulf Star Refinery on a daily basis. With careful planning, the amount of gas condensate transfer from the South Pars storage facility to the Persian Gulf Star Refinery will increase to 450,000 barrels per day."
