Speaking to Shana, Hossein Hosseinzadeh underlined a recent meeting of the Minister of Petroleum with the First Deputy Speaker of the Islamic Consultative Assembly, and said: "After this meeting, Mr. Nikzad announced that the performance of the Ministry of Petroleum in oil exports and oil diplomacy is acceptable. I also believe that the oil sales figure is increasing compared to the past and petrochemical exports are in a good condition.”
He also referred to the issue of oil bartering, and added: "Undoubtedly, oil barter is a very desirable capacity for investment in development projects and will better the status of oil exports."
The member of the presidium of the Energy Committee of the Islamic Consultative Assembly stated: "I believe that in addition to increasing oil exports, a long-term and pivotal view on maintenance and protection against over-production can lead to the further development of the oil and petrochemical industry."
