Progress of South Pars Phase 14 Favorable

TEHRAN (Shana) -- The CEO of Pars Oil and Gas Company underlined the favorable progress of South Pars phase 14 project, and said: "According to forecasts, the project's first operational train will become operational early next [calendar] year."

Speaking on the sidelines of visiting the first day of the 25th Oil, Gas, Refining and Petrochemical Exhibition, Mohammad Meshkinfam said: "All 13 onshore refineries have been completed and only the refinery of Phase 14 remains, which will become operational next calendar year."

He stated that all the activities and measures of the first development stage of South Pars will be summed up by the middle of next calendar year, adding: "Engineering studies are under way for increasing the pressure of the phases and, as the Minister of Petroleum pointed out, a contract will be signed soon for building two 16 MW turbochargers."

Regarding the development of Jask Oil Terminal, the CEO of Pars Oil and Gas Company added: "The early phase of this project will be operational by the end of next [calendar] year."

The Iranian calendar year begin on March 21.
