Iran Economy has shown it is Large, Resilient

TEHRAN (Shana) -- The President said that 15 South Pars projects were completed under his administration, while in previous administrations only 10 phases were completed, adding that the commissioning of national projects shows that Iran's economy is large and resilient under the sanctions.

ADr. Hassan Rouhani, today (Thursday, November 26) at the ceremony of inaugurating national plans of the Ministry of Petroleum, which was done through video conference, said: "Today we witnessed an important opening as people saw that when our enemies wanted to boycott and isolate us or to disappoint us about the future of the country, we inaugurated projects worth about 30,000 billion tomans (300,000 billion Iranian rials); certainly, such projects are unbelievable for all those who had sinister designs for us.”

He considered the operation of Lordegan urea and ammonia project very important, and added: "This project has an export dimension for us, so it is very important. Also, the project of 50,000 barrels of skid-mounted processing unit in the West Karoun region is important for us, because we have stepped into such an industry for the first time. The total return on investment after four years is very important in such a plan, and 80% of the employees active in Lordegan Petrochemical Plant are from the locals.”
