Zangeneh Announces Opening Single Channel for Importing Goods thru Oil Exports

TEHRAN (Shana) – Iranian Minister of Petroleum Bijan Zangeneh said President Rouhani had signed off on the Iranian Ministry of Petroleum's proposal to create a single window for the import of goods through oil exports with the aim of speeding up the work.

According to the Islamic Republic of Iran Broadcasting (IRIB), Zangeneh on Wednesday evening said, "With the consent of the President at the suggestion of the Ministry of Petroleum, we need to create a single window so that things can be done quickly and people do not waste time moving between government bodies.”

He added the result of the proceedings should be announced to the applicant immediately so that the task can be determined.

"We have to decide on the framework for the formation of this single window, and the applicant agencies and bodies that have to carry out the operations to start importing goods through oil exports, and God willing, the operational work will start next week."
