According to the National Iranian South Oil Company (NISOC), Hamid Kavian, CEO of Maroon Oil and Gas Production Company, said: "Over the past year, just like the previous years, the company’s instructed crude oil production was fully realized gas flaring was reduced by 80% in its processing facilities.”

He said the company was planning to enhance its oil output by 67,000 b/d in the current Iranian calendar year which began on March 20, adding it also recovered 191,000 b/d by using MOS and MOTs in the previous calendar year.
