According Pars Oil and Gas Company, Abdullah Mehrabi, pointing out that the shore pulling operation of the sea pipeline for 2.2 km started on July 21 on Kish Island, adding: “With the efforts of the staff of the employer and contractor, this project was completed in only 7 days which was an unprecedented record.”

He described implementation of this operation as the initial part of the Kish Garzeh offshore pipe-laying project, and said: After the operation of pulling the pipe from the shore, the rest of the pipe-laying to Garzeh area (Bandar Aftab) would be carried out by a C Master (pipe-layer) belonging to Iran Offshore Engineering and Construction Company which functions were the contractor of the project.

With the completion and operation of this project, Kish Island will be connected to the seventh national gas transmission line (Iran Trunkline 7).
