According to AOGPC, Ebrahim Piramoun said experts at the maintenance department of the company, together with a domestic knowledge-based company, had been able to manufacture key parts of the turbine.

“Given the strategic role of the turbines in oil and gas facilities that are used for transfer and processing of oil and gas, the department was focused on developing the know-how of manufacturing the items domestically,” he said.

He further said that two Solar Saturn turbines, 1001 and 1200 models, were repaired by the department and were now operating after undergoing all the relevant tests.
