Gas microturbine a successful example of knowledge-based technology
SHANA (Tehran) — A national gas microturbine project is a clear example of a successful knowledge-based product and is expected to play a key role in Iran’s future energy mix, a senior official with the National Iranian Oil Company said. Mahdia Motahari, director of research and technology at NIOC, said the project improves energy efficiency, aligns with energy security strategies and can be developed at multiple scales, making it strategically important for the country.
