According to the company, the drilling of well No. 79 in the Khangiran gas field was finalized after the installation of wellhead facilities and flow pipelines as part of technical and operational measures aimed at meeting production targets.

The project is expected to add 1 million cubic meters of gas per day to the production capacity of the East oil and Gas Production company by next year.

The Khangiran gas field, which includes 66 production and injection wells with a daily production capacity of 66 million cubic meters, is operated by the East oil and Gas Production company, a subsidiary of ICOFC. The field plays a significant role in supplying gas to the eastern and northeastern regions of the country.
