Iran FM meets with Pakistan Premier

​ISLAMABAD, (Shana) -- Iranian Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif met with Pakistan's Prime Minister Khagan Abbasi in the Pakistani capital on Monday.

During the meeting, Dr. Zarif expressed his gratitude to Pakistan's supportive position in opposition to an anti-Iranian human rights resolution.

The two sides also discussed fulfillment of the Iran-Pakistan gas pipeline in detail, and it was decided that the petroleum ministries of the two countries will begin technical negotiations on this matter.

The officials also negotiated increasing trade volume between the two neighbors, strengthening banking relations, managing border problems, stepping up multilateral, international and regional cooperation and increasing interactions between officials of the two countries.
