No Problem with Oil Money Payback: Economy Minister

TEHRAN, Aug 08 (Shana)—Minister of Economy Ali Tayyebnia says there are no troubles with repayment of Iran's oil money.

"In the past we had to undergo huge costs for receiving our oil money but now we can get the money without paying extra costs," he said.

Speaking on the sidelines of the Sunday government cabinet meeting, the minister said there are still troubles in dealing with international banks.

"We expected to be able to deal with major banks in the world after the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA) implementation but they keep bringing excuses like supporting terrorism by Iran and skepticism about money laundering in the country which are being seriously tackled by Iranian officials," he said.

As an example Iran was blacklisted as a country for not fighting money laundering but has been delisted from the roster.
