Speaking at a meeting on the complex’s strategic plans, Gholamabbas Hosseini attributed the uninterrupted production of natural gas to careful planning, coordinated management and the around-the-clock efforts of operational and technical personnel.
He said all South Pars refineries have focused in recent months on maintaining production stability, improving equipment reliability and carrying out scheduled maintenance and operational programs, enabling them to continue playing a key role in securing the country’s energy supply.
Hosseini noted that reconstruction and rehabilitation work on facilities damaged during the recent conflict began immediately after the attacks, relying heavily on domestic capabilities. He said the projects are progressing at a satisfactory pace and have advanced beyond initial expectations thanks to the efforts of Iranian gas industry specialists and employees.
According to the CEO, localization of technical processes and the extensive use of domestically manufactured equipment and materials have been among the main factors behind the success of the reconstruction program. He said leveraging local expertise has not only accelerated project execution but also strengthened production stability and reduced dependence on foreign resources.
Hosseini added that the complex’s strategic development projects are moving forward with greater urgency, aiming to improve efficiency, enhance facility reliability and reinforce sustainable production. He said the outlook remains positive for South Pars to maintain its central role in the nation’s energy sector.
He emphasized that all available resources will continue to be deployed to preserve and strengthen stable gas production through a program-driven approach, indigenous expertise and a skilled workforce.
Hosseini also stressed the importance of energy conservation, saying public cooperation and responsible consumption can help maintain balance in the national energy network and support the continued delivery of reliable services across the country.
