Gas refinery repairs move ahead quickly

SHANA (Tehran) - The CEO of the National Iranian Oil Company said reconstruction work at gas refineries damaged during the 40-day war is progressing steadily, with detailed planning already in place.

Hamid Bovard said restoration operations have begun in Asaluyeh and other affected areas. He noted that debris removal has started at four damaged gas refineries in the South Pars Gas Field.
“We are working to gradually bring these units back online and restore production phase by phase,” he said.
The deputy oil minister added that the project is being carried out jointly by the National Iranian Oil Company and the National Iranian Gas Company, and is advancing at a satisfactory pace.
Bovard said emergency measures to boost output from other fields are also underway to minimize pressure on the country’s gas network.
