Masjed Soleiman Oil and Gas Company delivers on production targets

SHANA (Tehran) – The CEO of the National Iranian South Oilfields Company praised the performance of employees at the Masjed Soleiman Oil and Gas Production Company, stating that despite enduring two imposed wars, the company has remained fully committed to meeting its production targets.

According to the National Iranian South Oilfields Company, Ramin Hatami made the remarks during a five-year well productivity forecast meeting at the Masjed Soleiman Oil and Gas Production Company. He highlighted the company’s strategic importance, noting its distinct technical position due to its combination of mature fields and younger, high-capacity fields. This, he said, creates a unique opportunity for simultaneous development in both oil and gas sectors.

Hatami reiterated his appreciation for the company’s workforce, emphasizing that despite the challenges of two imposed wars, the company has consistently fulfilled its production commitments.

He also pointed to operational challenges, saying that the dispersed nature of facilities and relatively lower recovery rates compared to other regions require greater focus and effort.

Stressing the need for a transformative approach in the upstream sector, Hatami said development projects must be accelerated through precise and coordinated planning and scheduling.

He added that achieving the development goals of the National Iranian South Oilfields Company and its subsidiaries requires comprehensive cooperation. To overcome operational constraints and accelerate progress, parallel efforts must be pursued to ensure goals are met with greater speed and accuracy.

Shahram Zolfaqari, CEO of the Masjed Soleiman Oil and Gas Production Company, also presented a report at the meeting outlining the latest production status, project progress and future plans.
