According to the National Iranian Oil Refining and Distribution Company, the lawmakers visited the site Monday with Mohammad-Sadeq Azimifar, the company’s managing director. They were briefed on the damage caused by the attack during the Ramadan War, as well as the reconstruction process and efforts to maintain stable fuel supply across the country.
During the visit, Azimifar presented a report on the damage to refining and distribution facilities from the enemy attack and steps taken to rebuild affected sites and ensure continued production and stable fuel distribution.
In a separate part of the visit, Mohammad Meshkinfam, managing director of the National Iranian Oil Engineering and Construction Company, detailed the reconstruction phases for oil depots in Tehran and Alborz provinces and the Rey fuel products transfer center.
Lawmakers also visited the Tehran Oil Refinery to review its operations and performance, particularly under wartime conditions.
The report said that on the evening of March 7, 2026, US-Zionist enemy fighter jets struck several oil depots in Tehran and Alborz provinces during the third war of aggression. However, no disruption occurred in the production or distribution of fuel products, including gasoline, and reconstruction of the facilities is underway.
