In a message, Oil Minister Mohsen Paknejad said the country’s oil sector remains committed to the ideals of the late founder of the Islamic Republic and other revolutionary leaders while declaring loyalty to Ayatollah Seyyed Mojtaba Hosseini Khamenei as the Leader of the Islamic Revolution.

The message reads:

“In the name of God, the Most Compassionate, the Most Merciful.

Greetings and best wishes for the acceptance of prayers during the holy month of Ramadan, especially the blessed Nights of Qadr. I congratulate the noble and insightful nation of Islamic Iran and Muslims around the world on the selection of the  Leader of the Islamic Revolution, Ayatollah Seyyed Mojtaba Hosseini Khamenei, by the esteemed members of the Assembly of Experts.

All managers, employees and members of the large family of Iran’s oil industry, while renewing their commitment to the ideals of the late Imam and the martyred Imam, declare their allegiance to Ayatollah Seyyed Mojtaba Hosseini Khamenei as the Leader of the Islamic Revolution.

They emphasize that Iran’s great national oil industry, alongside other branches of government, institutions and pillars of the state, under his leadership, will mobilize all its capacities to continue steadfastly on the path toward realizing the goals of the Islamic Revolution.

We believe that through patience, perseverance and revolutionary struggle — relying on trust in Almighty God, seeking the intercession of the Imams and following the wise leadership of the guardian jurist of the time — we will defend the precious legacy of independence, freedom and the Islamic Republic to the last drop of our blood, even as hostile and aggressive enemies harbor illusions of dominating our beloved Iran.”
