Oil industry leaders pledge allegiance to new Leader

SHANA (Tehran) — Senior officials in oil sector issued separate statements congratulating the nation following the selection of Ayatollah Seyyed Mojtaba Khamenei as the country’s new Leader, pledging loyalty and calling for national unity.

The messages came after Assembly of Experts announced the appointment of Khamenei as successor to the late leader, who was martyred along with several Iranian citizens during a battle between truth and falsehood.

In his statement, Hamid Bovard, managing director of the National Iranian Oil Company, expressed condolences over the death of the previous leader and praised the decision by the Assembly of Experts.

Bovard said the appointment, announced on the eve of the religious Nights of Qadr during the holy month of Ramadan, was a “wise and decisive step” to ensure the continuity and strength of the Islamic Republic.

“On behalf of all employees of the National Iranian Oil Company, I declare our allegiance and loyalty to the new leader and emphasize our full cooperation in safeguarding national interests, the country’s dignity and the ideals of the Islamic Revolution,” Bovard said.

Mohammad-Sadeq Azimifar, managing director of the National Iranian Oil Refining and Distribution Company, also congratulated the Iranian people and reaffirmed loyalty to the new leader.

Azimifar described the transition as a sign of the “historical maturity of the faithful Iranian nation” and praised the constitutional system of the Islamic Republic for navigating what he called a critical moment during ongoing conflict.

Speaking on behalf of workers in Iran’s refining and distribution sector, Azimifar said the industry stands ready to support the country’s leadership and continue pursuing Iran’s “strength, independence and progress.”

Both officials emphasized unity and obedience to the country’s leadership as essential for protecting national interests and continuing the path of the Islamic Revolution.
