Speaking Wednesday at the 19th Iran-Russia Joint Economic Commission, Paknejad said the Islamic Republic of Iran is at a sensitive stage in global developments and that expanding bilateral cooperation can be highly effective. He added that such collaboration is meaningful and important in the current international landscape.
Paknejad thanked the Russian side for advancing joint projects, expressing appreciation for counterparts in the Russian Federation, especially Energy Minister Sergei Tsivilev, for their follow-up efforts. He said those efforts helped move parts of previous agreements between the two countries into the implementation phase.
He emphasized that the realization and execution of these agreements represent key achievements of the joint economic commission.
