The figures show that the volume of sweet gas produced and delivered to Iran’s national gas grid hit 886 million cubic meters on the day. The milestone was achieved during the winter season amid a sharp rise in residential and commercial gas demand.
The record highlights sustainable capacity building and efficient use of production facilities, transmission pipelines and compressor stations across the country’s gas network, the company said.
Winter operations to manage Iran’s gas grid are underway this year with detailed planning, preventive maintenance and maximum use of production capacity from gas fields — including South Pars — through to domestic refineries. The coordinated performance underscores the critical role of gas infrastructure in ensuring energy security during harsh weather conditions and supporting the continuity of national production.
