TEHRAN (Shana): In a message on the occasion of the beginning of the 15th International Oil Exhibition in Tehran, Iranian petroleum minister Dr. Seyed Masoud Mirkazemi declared: The exhibition as a desirable opportunity depicts a clear picture of cooperation among the countries.

The petroleum minister said in his message that realization of the development goals of the Islamic Republic of Iran demands using and relying on domestic abilities from one hand and expanding economic, industrial, commercial and cultural relations with independent countries of the world from the other hand.

The text message says the government decision to invest more than 200 billion dollars in oil and gas sector over the fifth five year development plan (2010-2015) reflects the national determination to achieve the great goals of the oil industry and presence of hundreds of oil related companies from around the world in the 15th international oil exhibition represents the failure of a few number of countries, which by neglecting pivotal role of the Islamic Republic of Iran in the world energy arena, in fact have sanctioned themselves.
