According to NISOC, talking on the sidelines of the 16th Khuzestan Specialized Exhibition of Oil Industry Equipment Manufacturing in Ahvaz, Mohammad-Hossein Ghazal stated that since the beginning of the current Iranian year (March 21, 2025), 1,200 recovery operations on wells operated by the NISOC.

Explaining on NISOC steps on oil pipelines, the official stated that by improvement of Mansouri oil pipeline and Ahvaz pipeline, the daily transfer of 20,000 barrels of crude oil was made practicable using 24-inch pipes which led to sustainability of Asmari oil transfer along with preventing drop in production during overhauling operations.

The NISOC official went on to say that by completion of a 10-inch pipeline in Mansourabad field and gas lift operation, the infrastructure for early extraction of oil was supplied.

Implementing a horizontal directional drilling under Karoun river bed in Ab-timour field has resulted in 10,000-barrel hike in daily crude transfer, which has boosted safety coefficient, Ghazal stated.

The NISOC official concluded that using mobile processing equipment and  nitrogen packages in field operations as well as maintaining production level by the has led to avoid daily production drop of about 40,000 barrels.
