The adjustment follows a government directive aimed at optimizing energy consumption and maintaining the stability of the national electricity and gas networks, while ensuring public comfort and uninterrupted service delivery.
Under the directive, oil industry employees in Tehran will have flexible start times between 8 and 9 a.m., with workdays ending between 2 and 3 p.m. In other regions, working hours will run from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. The remaining required working hours will be fulfilled through appropriate arrangements, including remote work.
