TEHRAN -- Iran Khodro Company?s (IKCO) deputy for export affairs said on Sunday that the company will export three new brand cars in the current Iranian year (started on March 21).

Alireza Mirzaii added that Tondar 90, Suzuki Grand Vitara, and Cherry will hit domestic and overseas markets.

 

Mirzaii referred to the development of national brand as one of the most important goal of the company and said that the biggest Iranian automaker will export more than 40,000 Samand sedans during the period.

 

Pointing to the export of more than 22,000 various brands of Iranian-made cars in Iranian year of 1385 (March 2006-March 2007), he revealed that IKCO plans to export 84,000 cars in the current year.

 

Touching on the total value of IKCO exports in 1385, he added that the company exported passenger cars, spare parts, luxury cars, and technical and engineering services, worth totally $315 million.
