Sixth drilling rig mobilized for Sepehr–Jofeir project
SHANA (Tehran) – The director of the Sepehr–Jofeir oil field development project announced the deployment of a sixth rig to the field’s drilling fleet, saying the rig has been installed at the “Northwest Jofeir” well. With the start of repair operations, the long-abandoned well will be converted into a producing well in the Gadvan formation.
