Gas network completion leads to enhanced transmission resilience
SHANA (Tehran) – The completion of a series of pipeline projects, pressure booster stations and storage plans during the 14th administration has played a fundamental role in completing the country's gas transmission rings, enhancing national energy security and fostering economic development in various regions, said the CEO of Iran Gas Engineering and Development Company (IGEDC).

1.5 bcm of gas storage capacity added at Sarajeh field
SHANA (Tehran) — The gas storage capacity at the Sarajeh field will increase to 1.5 billion cubic meters (bcm) per year, with daily extraction rising to 15 million cubic meters, upon completion of its second development phase. This expansion will strengthen Iran’s gas network resilience during peak winter demand.
