According to a report from Gachsaran Oil and Gas Production Company, Ali-Akbar Hafezinia said that in the second half of the current year, the company fully achieved its committed production plan despite a shortage of specialized personnel, limited spare parts and aging equipment.

He noted that for the first time in 60 years, the 16-inch Gachsaran heavy crude pipeline was pigged and its defective points were eliminated. Furthermore, support installation and repairs were carried out on flow lines for oil, water, gas, and liquid gas across the operational area spanning four provinces.

Hafezinia added that early production in the Mansourabad project, the construction of two new fire stations, and the replacement of the burner tip at the Pazanan 2 unit were among the company's notable projects last year.

In the area of major overhaul, he said, the replacement of the gas turbine exhaust volute at the Gachsaran Gas Station was carried out for the first time by domestic experts, preventing the waste of 85 million cubic feet of gas per day.

The CEO stated the company's main objectives are to maintain prudent production, enhance facility safety, and utilize the capacity of domestic specialized personnel.

He emphasized that Gachsaran Oil and Gas Production Company, with its 25 percent share in the country's oil production, plays a pivotal role in national energy security and supplying feedstock to refineries.

Hafezinia said the company, as one of the oldest in the southern oil-rich regions, is the main gateway for Iran's oil exports via southern terminals and is consistently at the forefront of meeting the Ministry of Oil's objectives in production, development, and exports.
