According to the Petroleum Engineering and Development Company (PEDEC), Keyvan Yarahmadi said associated gas from the Azar field has been successfully delivered since late March, while commissioning operations for the fourth-stage compressors began in mid-October.
He added that starting October 27, with the operation of the Unit 1700 (EXPORT) compressors, the associated gas produced at the field is being injected into a 16-inch export pipeline at a pressure of 108 bar, in line with required quality specifications, and delivered to the NGL 3100 unit.
Yarahmadi said gas compression and dehydration at the Azar field are now handled by seven compressors, enabling the steady transfer of processed gas to downstream facilities.
He noted that commissioning the compressors in the transmission chain allows for maximum utilization of the field’s gas resources.
