According to the National Iranian Gas Company, Yahya Feyzi said the refinery’s feedstock is supplied from the Khangiran operational area. During the period, 6.017 billion cubic meters of gas were received, processed, and dehydrated before being delivered to the national transmission network.
Feyzi described the Hasheminejad Gas Refinery as one of Iran’s key energy production hubs, noting that the dedication and hard work of its staff play a crucial role in ensuring a stable energy supply for Khorasan provinces and northern regions of the country.
He added that sulfur, a byproduct of sour gas processing, is turned into high-value-added products, contributing to national wealth generation. In the first half of this year, the refinery produced 216,000 tons of sulfur with a purity of 99.99%.
Feyzi urged citizens to use natural gas efficiently as colder weather approaches, emphasizing that cooperation from consumers supports the efforts of industry workers and helps maintain stability across the country’s gas network.
